CHEN was formed to help meet the needs of teaching parents and those interested in finding out more about home education in the York Region area of Ontario. Christian Home Educators Network is a non- denominational, Christ-centred group committed to providing information, outreach and support to anyone desiring it. CHEN Meeting, topic change
We have a change of topic for our Monday, October 25 meeting. Due to an upcoming surgery, Steve Ondrus will not be doing the internet safety seminar. Instead we will have Joshua, Jean Rance's son, do a talk on Worldview. Joshua was homeschooled, and has completed university successfully, I might add. This evening is also for teens. Joshua has a real desire to also help teens understand this topic, as it is near and dear to him, and very important for us all, especially our teens who are growing up in such a 'small' world, surrounded and influenced by so much different culture than that which surrounded us when we were their age. Come and join us for the evening!
